L4Life Director, Mary Muirhead, awarded Order of Australia Medal

We are very pleased to announce that our Director, Mary Muirhead, has been awarded an Order of Australia Medal in the General Division (for Service to People with Disabilities and their Families) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours roll.

‘I am thrilled to receive this award on behalf of all the people who founded Learning for Life Autism Centre, the wonderful staff, Board, volunteers, families and supporters who together make our work possible. It is timely that we are approaching our 10th Anniversary Celebrations and this recognition is part of the wonderful achievements we, as the L4Life family, have collectively managed in that time.
