Igniting Change Podcast featuring Mary Muirhead

In early 2019, our Chair and Director Mary Muirhead was interviewed by Celia Hirsh to be included in a series of podcasts produced by Igniting Change.

At Learning for Life, we are fortunate to work alongside some of the most inspiring groups and individuals. One of those groups is Igniting Change (IC), a small organisation that is passionate about sparking big positive change with people who are doing it tough in our communities. They have been a part of our Village since the very early days and have supported our work in a quiet but very significant way by connecting us to a wider network, and are a Fair Access major funding partner.

Mary felt very honoured to be included in this podcast series. She speaks so eloquently about L4Life’s mission and the passion that permeates every facet of our organisation. The episode is about Mary’s involvement with L4Life over 15 years and the IC connection. It’s so fabulous that four co-founders of L4Life are still very active in our organisation (Pam Roy/EO, Tom Gleisner and Mandy Sampson/Patrons, and Mary), as well as long-term loyal staff members and supporters, some who have been with us from our beginnings and helped achieve the original vision of L4Life to provide. Fair Access to our services, an enduring career path for our staff and conduct quality research into the efficacy of our programs.
